Ash is available for adoption through Happy Dance Dog Rescue in the DFW area. 

Meet Ash! Ash is an adorable, 6lb, 6 year old chihuahua with a very special personality. Ash reminds us of a cat in a dogs body. While he may be cute and cuddly-looking, Ash will let you know when he would like to cuddle and when he wants to be alone. He does enjoy cuddling and pets some times, but often times Ash is asleep or people watching. He sleeps a solid 10 hours each night, is crate trained, never whines and is always excited to see his human come home! He also loves small, female dogs...he's a total ladies man! 

Days Up For Adoption:
Ash has been in foster care since January 2022 waiting for a family. 

His Story:
Ash was surrendered at the beginning of the year when he was living with a senior woman who could no longer care for him. He was devastated, he loved her so much. He's been with a foster since and is patiently waiting for his next home!

His Needs: Ash needs a special home with a family who will let him be his independent self and come and get love when he's ready for it. 
- Ash would do best in a home with another small dog, ideally female. No dogs over 15lbs though, he's not a fan. 
- He does well with cats 
- No young children, older and teenage children who understand Ash's needs are fine

Expected Costs:  He is fixed, up to date on shots and heartworm negative.  He is already microchipped. Only costs to expect are the normal monthly prevention medication, food and treats, etc.
